The timeline is primarily based on research conducted by Kaleidos Research on a publication by NCDO from 2012. A portion of the NCDO archive has been transferred to Stichting NICC, Netherlands International Cooperation Collection.
The timeline has been supplemented with information from the NICC collection, video fragments of interviews conducted by Stichting NICC since 2019, and documents and references provided by (experienced) experts.
