Mannetje van Willemstad

Het mannetje van willemstad was found during the construction of the Volkakkersluizen, near Willemstad. he found it on 8 meter deep veen layer. between the roots of an oak.he is 12,5 centimeter high and 5,1 centimeter wide. he is very special because there are fa few of these I the whole world. his face is a look a like from a human and he has a cylindrical body. he is made of oak wood and is 7500 years old. he was probably used for shamans as atribute to make contact to the spiritual word he plays maybe a important role in that. but afcourse he can also be toys from a little boy. we don't now because it is so old.
