National Water Resources Authority (NWRA)
With the assistance of The Netherlands, the National Water Resources Authority (NWRA) was established in 1995 (Presidential Decree No. 154 of 1995) NWRA designed a water policy framework to cope with the situation. The central theme being that NWRA, as a public body, had an important strategic role in managing the water resources of the country. NWRA developed a process through an instrument that identified concerns and actions with end-users.
