Shallow to deep wells, example Bangladesh

Initially people used mainly surface water sources resulting in high rate of water borne diseases. Than dug and drilled wells of 10 to 80 m deep were promoted but many were contaminated with Arseen. Drilling deeper boreholes of 100 – 150 m deep solves this problem.
